Yale Summer Session provides academically rigorous and innovative undergraduate programs and courses to Yale and visiting students across platforms and around the world.
Students come to Yale Summer Session to take Yale College courses in New Haven, online, or abroad; to develop professional and English language skills; or to hone their craft at the Yale Writers’ Workshop or in the Summer Drama Program.

- Professional development programs in law, business, and teaching, and English language programs through YSS Certificate Programs for International Students.
- Workshops in fiction, non-fiction, and genre-based creative writing at the Yale Writers’ Workshop.
- Professional training in acting or directing through the Summer Drama Program.
